About Rob
A working-class guy from a mining town in South Wales, Rob prizes equality and social justice.
He loves brave and exciting theatre that chimes with the truth of what it is to be human. Against all odds, he became a professional actor and then theatre director and know that there is always the potential to achieve.
He likes to be rigorous and uncompromising when the moment requires, yet always want to be open to learning and change. Stepping into unfamiliar places and ventures that often scare him has opened out and deepened his experience.
Rob is an actor and theatre maker with experience of devising experimental performances in theatres, galleries and other public spaces.
He uses innovative approaches to text, creating theatre projects with professional actors and young people in a range of settings and cultures.
Rob is also building strong links with arts groups and organisations in South East Asia.
